CIEH Principles of COSHH
This Level 2 qualification is aimed at those who are responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work, introducing candidates to the inherent risks in substances and the controls available.
Who needs this qualification?
Appropriate for all employees who use substances hazardous to health in manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and offices.
Subjects covered
Successful completion will prepare employees to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

QCA Accredited: No
Suggested progression on completion: While this unit of study can be delivered as a stand-alone qualification and there are no specific prerequisites, it is strongly recommended that candidates should already hold the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace or equivalent.
